Who you're contracting with

Roofeed is operated by Beyond Git, a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) registered in the Netherlands at Tjalk 19 35, 8232 LN Lelystad. References to “we”, “us”, or “Roofeed” mean Beyond Git.

The service

Roofeed is a reader for RSS and Atom feeds. We fetch content that publishers make available, and present it to you as a personal magazine. We do not host or own the underlying articles — they belong to their publishers.

Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us straight away if you suspect unauthorised access.

Plans and billing

Roofeed offers the following plans, in EUR:

• Free— feature-limited, available indefinitely.
• Pro Monthly — €3.99 / month. Renews automatically each month. Cancel any time and you keep access until the end of the current billing period.
• Pro Annual — €19.99 / year. Renews automatically each year. Cancel any time and you keep access until the end of the current billing year.
• Pro Lifetime — €49.99 (one-off). A single payment for ongoing access to the core reading experience for the operational lifetime of the service. “Lifetime” refers to the lifetime of Roofeed, not the user; we do not commit to operating Roofeed forever.

Prices are exclusive of VAT where applicable. VAT is added at checkout based on your country and any business VAT ID you provide. You can view and manage your subscription from your account.

EU right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU, you have a 14-day right to withdraw from a paid plan, starting on the day of purchase. To withdraw, email support@roofeed.com.

Roofeed is a digital service that is delivered immediately. By starting to use a paid plan within the 14-day window you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once you do so. If you have not used the paid features, you are still entitled to a full refund within the 14 days.

Refunds outside the withdrawal period

Outside the 14-day window, payments are non-refundable. If the service materially fails for an extended period, contact us and we will consider a pro-rata refund or credit on a case-by-case basis. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• scrape, crawl, or hammer the service beyond normal use,
• abuse any API or rate-limited surface,
• resell or sublicense access to other people,
• upload or share content that infringes other people’s rights or breaks the law,
• attempt to break the security of the service or the privacy of other users.

Publishers and their content

Roofeed reads RSS and Atom feeds that publishers have chosen to make publicly available. All articles, images, headlines, summaries, and other material delivered through those feeds are the property of their respective publishers and authors. Roofeed claims no ownership over any of this content.

We respect the rights of original content owners:

• We display only the parts of a feed the publisher chose to syndicate — titles, summaries, and any media the feed explicitly includes. We do not scrape full article bodies, bypass paywalls, or strip ads from publisher sites.
• Card and list views always link out to the publisher’s original URL, so reading happens on the publisher’s own site and they keep the traffic.
• We honour author and publisher attribution — the source name is shown alongside every article.
• Trademarks, logos, and brand names of publishers belong to their respective owners and are used solely to identify the source of an article.

Articles you read through Roofeed remain subject to the publisher’s own terms and copyright. You may not redistribute, republish, or commercially exploit content you find through Roofeed beyond what the publisher’s licence allows. We are not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or availability of any third-party content — you read at your own discretion.

Publisher takedown / opt-out. If you are a publisher and you would like Roofeed to stop indexing or displaying your feed, email support@roofeed.com from a domain or contact associated with the feed and we will remove it promptly — typically within a few business days. The same address handles copyright concerns and DMCA-style notices.

Changes to the service

We may add, change, or remove features over time. Lifetime customers keep access to all future updates of the core reading experience and will not be moved behind a new paywall for it. Optional add-ons or unrelated future products may be priced separately.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your settings. Deletion ends your subscription at the end of the current billing period and removes your reading data within 30 days.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with notice where reasonable. We may also discontinue Roofeed entirely; if that happens, we will give you advance notice and an opportunity to export your data.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to Roofeed is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under Dutch or EU consumer law, and your statutory rights as a consumer remain unaffected.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands. Disputes will be brought before the competent court in the Netherlands. If you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the EU country where you live, as your local consumer protection rules allow.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision. For material changes that affect your rights or your subscription, we will email account holders at least 14 days in advance.
